Lions Club Clinic in Port-au-Prince

A team of 11 from Michigan distributed over 1100 glasses with the help of local Haitians.  200 people referred for surgery to a Haitian doctor, Dr. Large, to correct cateracts and other diseases.

Over 6000 glasses were brought to Haiti as a donation from the Lions Club.  The remaining glasses will be distributed to the poor through Dr. Large's office.

We worked in the new top floor of a church.  The roof had been destroyed in the earthquake and most of the walls were broken.  A tarp protected us from the sun and rain.
